Ms. Aw-yang joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2004, after previously clerking with the firm beginning in January 2004. Ms. Aw-yang has focused her legal practice on water, land use, and environmental law. She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, in Natural Resources, and received her Master of Science in Forestry from Humboldt State University, Arcata, California. Ms. Aw-yang is a member of the State Bar of California and a member of the State Bar's Environmental Legislation Committee. In law school, she served as an editor and author for Environs, the King Hall School of Law's environmental journal.
Areas of Practice Emphasis
Water, agricultural, land use, environmental, and natural resources law, including water rights, water quality, endangered species, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
