Ms. Taber is currently Of Counsel with the firm. Ms. Taber represents public and private sector clients in all aspects of land use, natural resources and environmental law, including land use permitting, environmental compliance counseling, regulatory representation and litigation, with a particular emphasis on counseling and representation under CEQA and California and federal Endangered Species Acts. Ms. Taber earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1988, and her J.D. from the University of California at Davis, King Hall School of Law in 1996. Ms. Taber was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1996. Prior to practicing law, she provided environmental consulting services to private industry clients, public agencies, law firms, and environmental engineering and consulting firms.
Areas of Practice Emphasis
Land use and environmental compliance counseling, regulatory representation and litigation in state and federal courts, with particular emphasis on the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), water quality regulation, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California and federal Endangered Species Acts, state planning, zoning and development laws.
