Ms. Spence joined the firm as a paralegal in March 1994. For nine years prior to joining the firm she was a paralegal at the firm of McDonough, Holland & Allen assisting attorneys in the areas of water and power. She now assists attorneys in the areas of environmental and land use law and litigation, with a focus on complex litigation. Ms. Spence received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Loma Linda University (now La Sierra University) and a certificate in Legal Assisting from American River College. She is a former instructor with the University Extension, University of California at Davis, and a former representative of the Sacramento Valley Paralegal Association to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
