Michael E. Vergara
Mr. Vergara regularly appears before both federal and state courts, and his practice emphasizes construction and environmental litigation. Mr. Vergara represents a broad cross-section of clients with environmental concerns, such as underground storage tanks and potential liability under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act. His caseload also includes utility rate and public election contests. He is a designated evaluator of environmental cases for the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Voluntary Dispute Resolution Program. Mr. Vergara earned his J.D. from University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1988. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
